This ‘lighter service’ is for customers who need a basic Cloud Backup service without all the bells and whistles we provide on our main MSP platform.
The accounts generated on this service WON’T appear in your MSP portal at https://portal.data-stor.net/
How to get the discount
Create an account @ https://secure.bobcloud.net and contact us at sales@bocloud.net Don’t place any orders yet because your discount won’t be applied.
We will apply the discount to your account, and a 40% discount will automatically be applied to all future orders.
How does this service differ from our MSP platform?
Portal: This service doesn’t have an enterprise portal the same as our MSP platform at https://portal.data-stor.net/
You can still check the status of your backup sets within the desktop software and with email backup reports.
Storage: If you buy storage from us, we will store your data on IDrive’s e2 platform. This page shows their compliance statement IDrive® e2 helps businesses in meeting federal mandates
You can still use your preferred S3 storage, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Wasabi. We also support many other cloud storage services as a storage destination, such as OneDrive and Dropbox.
Modules: This service allows you to backup:
OS’: Windows Server, Desktop, Linux and macOS.
Windows systems: Windows files, system state and bare metal (server and desktop).
Advanced modules: Cloud storage (OneDrive, Dropbox, etc).
Systems you CANNOT backup on this service: M365, Hyper V, VMware, Exchange, SQL, Physical NAS devices (Synology and QNAP).
Payments: This service is more competitively priced, and we achieve this by taking payment up-front for annual storage quotas. You have a 30-day refund period on all accounts should your customers want to cancel.
Email alerts: This service’s email alerts aren’t as intuitive as the MSP platform; however, they are under development.
