How to create additional Contacts and Users on our help desk

Our central help desk is on a different system than our online backup portals.

Our system uses two types of accounts:

Contact

A Contact can receive updates to invoice and support ticket emails but cannot edit the account.

User

A User can administrate the entire account. Permissions are role-based.


How to create a Contact

Login at https://control.bobcloud.net/clientarea.php
Click on Contacts in the top right of the screen where your login name is shown.
Add the new contact’s details and email preferences.

How to create a User

Login at https://control.bobcloud.net/clientarea.php
Click on User Management in the top right of the screen where your login name is shown.
Enter the email address of the User you want to invite. You can grant all or some (recommended) permissions.

The user’s account will be created after they accept your request and login.
