Hi, we started getting this error when backing up our NAS

This error can occur if the file is locked on the source location.
If this is a NAS device, the VSS snapshot on the server where our software is installed won’t work on the source location.
To overcome this issue, please ensure all files are closed on the NAS before the backup starts.
A workaround is to use iSCSI if your NAS supports it.
If you can connect to your NAS using iSCSI, Windows will see the NAS location as DAS (direct attached storage) and will be able to call a VSS snapshot on it.
This isn’t a quick fix and will require you to re-work the data on your NAS from UNC to iSCSI, but can be worthwhile for backing up and general data integrity.
