We had this problem at the weekend, but the backup has since worked

When backing up MS Exchange Server 2003 / 2007, the *.stm and *.edb database files must be backed up together.
The error message suggests during a previous backup there was an error which affected the consistency of the database files. For example, a connection issue during the previous backup job failing to upload both database files.
Fix:
To resolve the issue, please perform a Exchange ‘Database’ backup via the the server software.
The same error will still be displayed on the next backup job, however, the problem will be resolved in the subsequent backup.
NOTE Do not interrupt the database backup job when an error is flagged.
