MS SQL error on version 7 of Ahsay OBM ‘Skip backing up (Database does not exist)’

Issue

We can’t remove specific MS SQL databases from a backup set and have an error during each backup skip backing up (Database does not exist)

Cause

The AhsayOBM software doesn’t provide a way to remove specific MS SQL databases from a backup set.

Fix

The current fix is to remove the backed-up copy of the database from our service first.

  1. Open the BOBcloud (AhsayOBM) software on your device
  2. Select Utilities
  3. Select Delete Backup Data
  4. Select the backup set
  5. Select the destination
  6. Select Choose from all files
  7. Locate the database you want to remove
  8. Click Delete

This action will delete the backed-up copy of the database.
When the backup next runs, it should complete without an error.
