System state backup stalls

I was running a system state backup on a virtual server but it has stalled with no action in over 2 hours.

A system state backup can take at least 2 hours to dump out its local database before it starts to transmit the data to us.
You can check the current activity from the customer’s page in your portal at https://portal.data-stor.net/

The time taken to back up the system state will depend on the speed of the server (especially disks), dump location type (i.e. USB disk is slower than a RAID location) or whether the backup is full or incremental.
