What does Off-Line Backup in version 6 of ACB mean?
It doesn’t mean what you might think, and you probably think it means a local copy or mirror. We thought that too when we first started using Ahsay 7 years ago.
It is actually a way for the software to remind mobile laptop users to run another backup when one is missed.
A good workaround to ensure backups work when the laptop is in a different time zone to the one it was created in, is to create a schedule every 4 hours or turn on CDP (Continuous Data Protection).
