I have a quick question for one of my clients. I am looking for a way, and I’m not sure how to configure backup retention policies for the client data. Can someone guide me through the process or point me to helpful resources?
Also, I was wondering if there’s a way to adjust the retention policy for specific files or folders? And how does the retention policy affect the frequency of backups?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
The default retention period we set on all backup sets is five years or 1,825 days. This is configurable from one day to unlimited, and every backup set within a backup account can have different retention settings.
